In the spring of 2004 become public images of the Iraqi prison of Abu Ghraib, where American soldiers let themselves be photographed – are posing and cheerful – while torturing captives. No one can have forgotten the horror of those scenes.
This short essay, however, does not insist on the political and cultural value of the shots of Abu Ghraib, but noted, in their composition, an index aesthetic able to reveal the condition of our daily lives normally catastrophic democratic.
